Last night I decided to take the Mighty Ugly Challenge where you make a creature, well, ugly. According to my family, I failed – miserably…my daughter promptly announced she thought it was “cute, very cute”. My husband looked at me, not wanting hurt my feelings, but said, “no it’s not ugly”. My son was too involved in a video game to answer, so as any good mother would do – I stood in front of the tv. His answer was, “I don’t know, but no, not ugly”, while craning his neck around my body.
But it was fun and freeing. Especially knowing that it didn’t matter what it looked like, although I really was trying for ugly.

Yay! I mean, it’s kinda cute, but I totally think in the right company it’d be hands-down the ugliest in the room.
