As most people know, I stay up late.  Really late. I try to go to bed before 3am, but it doesn’t always happen, especially if I get all excited about a book or get caught up in the excitement of creating. Just try and pull me away. Well, someone probably would in my house, if anyone was awake.

Tonight I have rocking out to Pandora and then my own playlist after Pandora crashed on me. Big thumbs down on that. I was working on all sorts of jewelry, some commission, some just to make, and one special one – just for me. You see it pictured above (so excite about it that I just took a quick snap shot with my phone). Sometimes you need to make something personal. That might not make sense to anyone else but you. You have absolutely no intention of selling it. This is a personal piece for me. I saw the cuff bracelet a while back and really liked it. I added charms that had meaning to me. Things I like. Again, anyone that really knows me, knows that I love fish. So there is a koi fish charm on there. A favorite view point of life is also on a ring attached that says “Live with passion”.

I think this is a great project for a person to make for them self. It’s meaning is just for you. Your life, your view point, your story. It’s also easy, I attached all the charms with jump rings. That’s all a good safety precaution – the jump rings will bend and break if it gets caught in something. That way you just lose the charm, and not your hand or arm. In fact, this is similar to a charm bracelet except the charms are all in one place and not spaced across a chain.

I challenge you to think about yourself first and make yourself a piece that’s all you, just for you. And if you’re not a creative type, I’m sure there is someone that can help you. (Hint. Hint.)
