When I first started making art cards, I thought of them of little pieces of my artwork – little pieces of my heart. When drawing this, I was thinking about looking into apartment windows and seeing them filled with love – romantic, maternal, puppy, divine, and the list goes on. “Windows With Hearts” is an art card. It is mixed media (watercolor, paper and ink) on 140 lb. cold press watercolor paper. This is an original, you can see the front and back above. Will be sent in a protective 3″ x 4″ plastic sleeve. I’ve wanted to do Art Cards, Editions and Originals (ACEO) for years. But for some reason their size was daunting to me. They’re just, so small. The one rules is that they are only 2 1/2″ by 3 1/2″.
