A great big sunflower! I was wishing for sunflowers the last time I sent up to Flagstaff. I had hoped to so some sketching when I was there, but there was no time. So I drew this big one when I got back home, on an old book page, of course.

This gal was inspired by watching the Animal Planet’s “The New Evidence”. It was actually quite compelling. This little cutie pie is nothing like what mermaids would look like according to the show. She’s the first mermaid that I’ve ever drawn, so I guess she’s not that bad.
Made this sketch after an evening with my in-laws (mom, dad, sister & niece). It was wonderful talking with them – my niece is such a ball of sunshine, even at 21. She’s off to Comicon tomorrow with her boyfriend. Yes, I am jealous.
