Introducing the Entrepreneurial Development Exchange

What a great meeting we had at the Arizona Small Business Association this morning. Charlotte Hodel, Sr. Vice President, Education & Development, and Rebecca Rolfe, Program Manager, hosted a wonderful Business Exchange Meeting. We were able to get together with other facilitators and welcome new facilitators of great new exchanges that will be starting in the months to follow. It is exciting to be able to work with such dedicated and warm individuals.

Now you might be wondering, that’s nice, but what’s so exciting? First off, the Home Based Business Exchange is changing names. A group of us – Debbie Davis of Mary Kay, Lisa Raymond of Designers Eye, Sherry Ruger of First Class Business Services, along with Charlotte and Rebecca came up our new name – the Entrepreneurial Development Exchange. We think this is a better representation of the members that attend our exchange.

Next, starting in September of 2010, we will be changing the meeting date to the 2nd Tuesday of the month. The time will be from 9:00am to 10:30am. And finally, drum roll please…..we will be moving locations back to the ASBA offices! I know that is something that will please many past HBBE members – including Debbie and me.

So, don’t forget Tuesday, August 3rd at noon at the Development & Community Services Building at the City of Peoria is our next Entrepreneurial Development Exchange (EDE) meeting. You do not want to miss Jessica Johnson’s workshop on Mastering that Little Voice in your head. Jessica is Arizona regional developer of SalesPartners World Wide.

Tuesday, September 14th at 9:00am at the ASBA Office’s new Conference Room. Kevin Mogavero, Co-founder, President and CEO of Six Degrees of Leadership will present on Determining Your Target Market.

October 12th, Tuesday, at 9:00am at the ASBA Office’s new Conference Room. How do you handle rejection? Cecilia Cusimano will be presenting on how to handle the rejection that you face in your business.

Can’t wait for these great presenters and the change of venues. Don’t forget to rsvp at www.asba.com today.
