Bound For Murder

I finished reading Bound For Murder by Laura Childs yesterday (well a little longer than yesterday now). It’s one of her older books, but I had read one of her other books years ago and wanted to read more. This one was actually before the one I read. Oh, I so do hate reading a series out of order. But at least Childs gives enough detail that it is not necessary to read her previous books.  And in case you couldn’t tell from the title, it is a mystery. Better yet, a scrapbooking mystery. She describes at least one project in detail that you can make yourself. There are also scrapbooking tips and recipes in the back.

This one is about a friend’s finance that was found murdered the just before the wedding. But as I was reading the bibelot box project they were making in Carmela’s store, I guiltily thought of all the little Altoid tins I saved years ago that were sitting in a basket on a high shelf in my studio. All those little boxes waiting to be made over into little treasures. So, when I get done with a few custom projects I have going on, those boxes will be seeing the day light once again.
