Taming That Little Voice Inside Your Head

Two days ago, Jessica Johnson, the Arizona Regional Developer of SalesPartners World Wide, gave an informative talk on how to tame the voice, or as some of us have, voices in our head. You know that tiny voice that is negative and tells you that you’re not worth it, you can’t do it, you’re not smart enough, beautiful enough, thin enough – or whatever it says. That small voice is important – it can help make you or break you. Jessica gave us tools that can change that negative voice. At one point in time, she had us standing up yelling out what makes us so great.

Jessica actually started by talking about selling. And how selling requires energy. And not jumping around hyper energy. Energy can be confidence, listening, enthusiasm. (As a side note, it’s interesting how many people do not listen to what you say. I had about a five minute talk with a guy who was going to be traveling to China next week. We parted ways and when I saw him later I said “Have a good trip,” as I walked past him. He said “You too.”) She said that if you cannot sell then you cannot live. I thought about that – she meant in relationships as well. You are “selling” to you spouse, your kids. I personally like the word “inspire” instead of sell. But to each their own.

Another tip she shared with us is that each morning we ask ourselves, who do we want to be. Shape that definition. Go out and be that person. And I personally love the definition she had of greed. Greed is having a gift and not sharing it. But what I liked the best was the Daily Gratitude Procedure that she handed out. After spending the hour in loud energy mode, the worksheet brought us down to some serious quiet energy.

Jessica has a 1-Day Income Explosion Workshop where you learn to take your business from average to World Class, Master Your Little Voice, handle and objection anytime, and a proven formula that guarantees serious cash flow. I can make it this month, but will be joining next month. If this is something you are interested in, I would contact Jessica at jessicaj@sp-az.com.
