A Little Inspiration

Walking through Wal-Mart at 12:30am can be a little scary at times. But tonight, the light in store seemed a little brighter than normal, and a little cleaner too. A little birdy told me they had a big wig in town and that’s why everything looked so much better than normal. I went because neither Michaels or Joanns is open 24 hours for my crafting needs. I mean really, I can’t be the only one that needs a specific finding, bead or glue in the middle of the night when I feel motivated to get some stuff done.

Now, as I went back to the crafting area, trying not to be distracted into other aisles. I kept thinking, I hope they have what I want so I can pick it up and go home to make that necklace – that I FINALLY that decided on a design for. (I have a feeling my high school English teacher would not like that last sentence.)  Did I find what I was looking for, of course NOT. But I still looked around browsing since I was there. I found some cute wooden pre-drilled pendents. And I loved them. All sorts of fun ideas started through my head. All beach related. I must be missing the beach, I get that way time to time. But I am excited! New ideas have been coming out to me tonight.

So, I didn’t mind the long wait in line. I actually chatted with the lady in front of me – she had on a pretty neat necklace I was scoping out. He he. And to top it off – I found the light fixture I was looking for my kids’ bathroom. So, one successful trip to Wally World, and not one person asked me for money in the parking lot which made the trip all the better.
