Pencil Holders

Here are the pencil holders that I made – inspired by one of the projects in Laura Childs’ Scrapbooking Mysteries. It was fun to do something a little different than what I was used to. BTW – this is one I pulled out from the archives in case you were wondering.

  1. I hope you’ll give some of the projects in my mystery series a try. The first book–Paper, Scissors, Death–was nominated for an Agatha for Best First Novel. I’ve been scrapbooking since 1998, and I’ve written for all the major magazines. I think the Modge-Podge (sp) was a great idea. Also it made your project much more durable.. I also saw a project where someone use Fimo and baked it around the container. A better glue stick is Uhu, I think. I used it for many projects.

  2. Thanks Joanna – I will definitely check out your books. Always love a good mystery! I’ve seen I saw (on some show awhile ago) where they made a baked Fimo pencil holder. Thank you for your glue stick tip, I will check that out as well.
